In other words, you have to be at least X good at something to realize that one isn't that good at it.
In fact, folks who are *better* at things tend to be the ones who most realize how little they know!
Now if we could get *that* to be common knowledge what a difference it might make.
Just imagine if "everyone" knew that "Of course I can do that" without any trace of "well, unless something unexpected happens, or..." is a *bad* sign. An indication that the person is too ignorant (or stupid) to be trusted.
Which makes me think of a certain politician whose name resembles "shrub"....
