Shipping help...

I'm getting Lin's Braillenote fixed for her. Got the RMA today. Then I got to thinking about shipping, and figured that insuring it would be a good idea.

So I looked up the price on the website of the manufacturer. And almost swallowed my teeth. $6,195.00

The USPS *doesn't* insure for over $200. And while the odds of anything happening to it are slim, I don't want to ship it without insurance.

So, anybody have experience with shipping stuff that expensive? Who would you recommend?

Chris shipped all kinds of comparable units back and forth to Florida via UPS and had zero problems. I seem to remember you can buy insurance through them.
