This is beautiful???

I've following the pictures here for a while. Funny stuff, mostly, though the humor gets a bit much at times. As in really crude/rude.

But there's also a "Daily nudes" link on the page. Just for the heck of it, I started checking those out. And I'm seeing something that is starting to *really* bother me.

Given that these pics are from sites that are supposed to be "celebrating the female form" (and other such language) one must assume that they are supposed to be nice looking if not beautiful. Right?

But what I'm seeing is really starting to bug me.

On many of the models, I can easily count ribs. The front of the pelvis protrudes well above the skin. And I've even seen ones where the knees and elbows looked like large bulges connecting "matchsticks".

WTf? That's not a woman, that's a famine victim!

Ok. I exaggerate. But not a lot. There's something *seriously* wrong with this.

Naturally, I had to take a look. And I definitely agree with you. Yuck!

The first one in today's set (the one on the red ball) is almost *normal* compared to the one that was up a couple days ago. I wasn't kidding about "matchsticks". Her upper and lower arms looked like skin over bones. And her legs weren't a lot better.

When the middle of the upper or lower arm is noticably thinner than the ends, that *can't* be healthy. And her legs weren't a lot better.

I have always had issues with todays standard of 'beauty' = guess you have to be anorexic or just not eat...

Nah I would rather be a bit overweight then look like I am a skeleton with hide streached over my frame.

Yeah, it's *scary* looking at some women.

Mind you, I'd like to be a bit *less* overweight than I am. But my ideal body would have curves. Nice ones. :-)

Well, as far as I can tell the "daily nudes" are links to other sites. Not stuff he picks on purpose.

And yeah, I don't expect to see BBWs on most sites (and, alas, the sites that do go there tend to go too far the *other* way)
