clothing care
Jan. 18th, 2005 10:16 amOk, I have dress that needs to be washed. Only thing is, there are *no* care instruction labels. Closest thing is the tag that says 90% polyester 10% spandex
The material is a sort of velour/velvet type stuff.
So, is it machine wash? Hand wash? Dry clean (I hope not!)

And lets not go into the pink & blue underwear I wound up with as a kid. Boys white briefs. The blue was from getting washed with a pair of new blue jeans. The pink was from getting washed with a pair of flannel lined winter jeans (red flannel, of course).
Alas "gentle cycle" may be a problem. The washing machines in the laundry room don't have all *that* many settings. And what they do have is more wash & rinse temps.
Come to think of it there may be a "delicate" cycle (though I may be misremembering a dryer setting)
