Actually, we are getting a drought due to low winter rains (which create the snowpack that we get water from the rest of the year).
And I commented this time because the rains you are getting are rains that should have gone up here except for a high pressure area (an "omega block") deflecting stuff down your way.
You guys don't have a drought. You've got the *normal* climate for down there, plus too many people. :-(
