May. 11th, 2024 01:06 amI'd thought it'd gotten warmer the last few days but didn't realize just *how* warm until I checked the thermometer a bit before noon. A quick check online revealed that the high today was expected to be 90!!! (we indeed made 90)
Since it's going to be considerably cooler starting Sunday, I didn't bother setting up the air conditioner. That can wait until we get a stretch of hot days.
Did finally make the store run Ive been putting. Restocked on sodas (I was almost out) and a few other things.I forgot a few things, but I can get them later.
Gotta try getting out of the apartment more often. Need the exercise. also need to pick up a few things at the hardware store.
Got a notification from an ap I have on my Kindle, but don't use. There'd been a problem updating and I accidentally started it. That's how I found out we are currently in a geomagnetic storm and that the aurora might be visible tonight. Probably too much light to see. I'll see about trying again tomorrow.
