Never tempt fate...
Aug. 6th, 2008 12:06 amSome of you may recall my comment a few weeks back about my getting my stereo setup upgraded with donated speakers.
O\I said that all I was missing was a subwoofer. And that living in a non0ground floor apartment that was probably just as well.
I said something similar to a friend earlier tonight after showing him the setup.
So I guess I "deserved" it when I went down to check my mail and decided to duck into the rec room and see if anything new had shown up on the "up for grabs" table.
There was stereo amp for a car sitting on top of something boxy with a power cord and lots of connections. It was made by JBL and the only identoier other than that was the model number (PS60).
So I went back to my apartmet and googled. After which I went back and grabbed it.
Yep, it was a powered subwoofer. Got the manual online. It's hooked up for testing right now. Tomorrow at a more decent hour, I'll stick in my audio/video "setup & test" DVD. Should be interesting.
Alas, it's going to be in the nineties again tomorrow, And they are painting the building. If they do the side my windows are on, they'll have them taped over for hours. And the apartment will be uninhabitable. So I may not be onlinr.
