Check links before clicking on any videos on LJ. If they want you to install a codec *don't*. Especially if they use the phrase Active X" and "codec" together.
What they are trying to do is get you to download and install a trojan that'll do nasty things to your computer.
You'll find that the LJs they are posting from are new and don't have any posts.
Report these jerks to LJ abuse.

The above story is hard to take in places. But parts of it, especially the [spit!] "psychiatrist" in the first chapter are far too common examples of why people go thru life hiding essential pieces of themselves.
