techy stuff

Been working on upgrading a couple of machines for Lin & Kermit. Lin's Mom got them cheap at a local (to her) community college selling off "old" systems.

Let's see, we are keeping the motherboards, the case & power supply and the floppy drives. Oh yeah, and the old RAM (sort of).

Christmas "dinner"

Made three trips to the store today to get supplies for my Christmas "feast". Might have made it in only ytwo trips, but thanks to hitting Rite-Aid for some over the counter meds, I needed more cash.

Did buy one "extra" item I hadn't planned on, but had been trying to resist for a bit.

I spent a bit over $7 on shrimp. *Two* shrimp...

Net weight? 0.43 pounds.

Yeah. Almost 4 ounces *each*. They'll be nice as a variation from leftovers in a day or so. :-)
