Stupid product "design"

I like your mini-quiches. And yes, it was a nice thought to put an easy open pull-off strip to the end of the box.

However, it would have been nice if the designer had bother to check *where* the box sealing machine puts the bead of glue to seal the flap.

Since it is applied DIRECTLY UNDER the pull off strip, it actually makes the box *harder* to open.

Why writers need to know how to spell

I was reading a bit of erotica online. Fairly well written gay erotica.

Except I hit this one word that *couldn't* be what the writer intended. Obviously, he'd relied on the spellchecker to correct his guess at the spelling. Alas, it had gotten the wrong word.

Finally, after the third occurrence, I was able to figure out that the word he wanted was "ministrations".

Alas, what the spellchecker had given him was "menstruations".
