Don't you *love* inconsistent propaganda?

Listening to CNN. Specifically to the Iraqi Information Minister.

Thursday, he was saying that Coalition forces weren't within 100 miles of Baghdad.
Friday, he was saying they hadn't taken the airport.
Today he's saying that they are being thrown back with heavy losses.

This is a *classic* example of something you see all the time. It's just not as blatant in normal politics in places like the US.

Basically, they act as if you can't remember what they were saying in the not that distant past..

It's just that in Baghdad, they are having to change "official reality" hourly...

I'm reminded of Orwell's "1984".
