Good news/bad news...
Apr. 26th, 2002 11:48 pm... or Murphy must really like me.
Stuff with my friend Lin is going well, even if I'm not sure where some aspects of it are going.
My diabetes is going to be a problem, but so far, it looks like more in the "major nuisance class".
Which brings us to the "bad news" part. My financial situation is ridiculuous. I'm worried about what I'm going to use for money after May. At the same time, I have real estate worth 5 figures. Which I'm trying to sell, but will be hard to sell without marking the lots (it's raw woodland) , which I can't afford to do.
Also, it looks like it may also prevent me from getting into the low income health plan here in Oregon. Depends on how they define "resource".
I'm afraid of what will happen if I go to a bank and try to get a loan. Sure, the property is collateral, but until some sells, paying *back* the loan will be a major problem.
It's also ironic that a part time burger flipping job or the like would probably be enough to keep me going, but I can't stand for long periods. Which rules out a *lot* of stuff.
I just hope I get some more computer work, because if I don't in a few weeks I get to decide between paying my medical insurance and paying everything else...
