Is it wrong to just wish I could wander over to the store to getr something without either changing out of my skirt or spending 30-60 minutes dealing with body & facial hair?
I'm used to me glasses. And with the help of a friend, my last two pairs of glasses are rather better suited to Brooke than the ones I had in the pics on my website.
And my next set is going to be a bit more "femme". Not to the point of getting weird looks in guy mode, but...
You're right, of course, but oy. I grew a beard because I hated shaving. I'm going to get rid of it any day now, but I never look forward to the chore of maintaining it. (I'm never satisfied with my shave, is the problem, I usually just give up when I'm down to fine sandpaper in patches. I'm convinced an all-over smooth shave is an urban legend started by Burmashave or something.)
I can get a fairly smooth shave. But it works better if I start with several days growth. Of course, for *me*, a weeks growth is less than an 1/8 of an inch. It'd take me 2-3 days to get the "Don Johnson" look. :-)
Has its advantages. If I do a good shave, I'm ok until the next day.
On the other hand, I tend to scrape the hell out of myself if I have to do it again the next day.
I wore a beard for 25 years because I'm *lousy* at shaving.
And my leg hair wasn't a problem, as my two favorite skirts (one of which I was wearing :-) are ankle length.
For that matter, my leg hair isn't a problem unless a skirt is above the knee. One of the few "benefits" of the poor circulation that comes with diabetes. There's barely any hait to the *touch* below my knees. Visible hair, only if you look so closely you'd better be a *really* good friend :-)
My arms and hands are a different matter.
I *really* need to get the courage to go check out the numbers a couple of folks gave me for local body waxing places that won't mind doing a guy. (And yes, I know it hurts, had it done as part of a scene by a kinky beautician once)
And for that matter, I need to check the rates for laser and electrolysis.
Well, you know I do that, after a fashion. Beard, t-shirt and skirt. But I have a different set of clothes for that than I do for cross-dressing, it'd be like wearing a tux to run down to 7-11. Although, I'm lazy enough on laundry day, I'd throw the slacks from a tux on with a t-shirt, and I've got one outfit that isn't so dressy, I've been tempted to put it on. I'd just feel silly with the beard still on is all. Just doesn't go with the outfit. ;)
Well, while I'm ok with doing "genderfuck" among friends, or at some local "events", I *really* prefer to be stealth.
That is, I want Brooke to look as normal as any other woman of her size/shape.
I *do* wish I didn't have a receding hairline. I'm *so* jealous of one NWGA member. Nicky has long white hair. Looks great in a pony tail ion guy mode (halfway down his back), and great in gal mode worn loose.

That's a normal desire, I'd say.
