I find that it's been too long since I was in Junior High and High School. I can't remember how the class periods and lunch were arranged at any of the schools I went to. 20+ years of it not mattering will do the to you. :-)

So, if anybody with more recent experience, or who knows someone in HS or junior high would post giving start time (i.e. when you have to be in home room), and how long periods are and how lunch or lunches (for places with multiple shifts for lunch) fit into the periods, would reply to this with the details, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Well, Lindbergh High School (my old school) in St. Louis County, MO, has this schedule. Note that, as exams are starting soon, the "normal" schedule is the one posted for 25 May 2004, with the exception that some classes are juggled due to final exams beginning that day.

Basically, they have seven 40-minute periods, with five minutes between periods. Lunch is staggered during fifth period, though I don't recall how many shifts they run (it's been over 20 years since I graduated).
