I'm watching NCIS.

possible spoilers...

There's an old case of a dead Navy officer who'd been embezzling funds. He died in a car crash, burned to death. The money was never found. But an agent was checking the case and said agent was murdered.

As soon as I heard "burned to death", I suspected that the guy might not be dead. Now, a bit later, they had the woman the agent had been running surveillance on having been living very close to each of the dead officer's duty stations.

The investigators are all going "she knew him". The voice in the back of my head went. No, she *was* him.

Now, they've discovered that the DNA test results on the dead body were faked.. And the woman uses a *lot* of beauty products (from digging thru her garbage.

I'm willing to bet that the woman *will* be the "dead" officer.

(later) yep. They've identified her as him.

While they didn't play the "he did it because he was weird" bit, they *did* have a couple of things I'd like to rap the writers on the knuckles for.

She was scheduled for SRS in Thailand the next month. But there's a reference to adding a misdemeanor charge on when one agent tells the others that she (the former officer) has gone to the ladies room. Said agent was having a drink with the suspect (she didn't know he was an agent, he didn't know she used to be a guy).

Later, after the showdown, one of the other agents asked Tony (the one who'd been having a drink with the suspect, and had been getting a bit hot & heavy with her before he found out) "What's it like to tongue kiss a guy?".

Grrr.

It doesn't help that the agent giving Tony grief was a female he keeps hitting on. Yeah, she had a "good" reason to take him down a peg. But I still don't like it being done that way.
