And given the percentages quoted, we *really* need to get the M/F categorization of record fixed. Fixing the social attitudes would be nice, but getting the folks in charge of stuff to realize that "physical sex" isn't an "either/or" situation would help.

Problem being that not everyone is on the same base unit. Male, female, and the many between them is the way it should be, yes . . . the issue, however is that most of the world's definitions are: There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those who don't

Well, clear back in the 80s, I ran into someone online who'd managed to talk the Ohio(?) DMV into issuing him a license with sex listed as "O".
