Silly idea, but should be amusing.

The Professor is obviously some sort of magic user. Handicapped by unfamiliar materials and lack of spell books.

The Howells? Maybe nobles, maybe something else.

Ginger is likely a bard (entertainer and famous)

Marya Ann?

The Skipper?

And finally Gilligan.

I'm interested in ideas,m but serious and silly.

Mary Ann=some kind of minor hedge witch? ... I will leave any and all of my already-existing shippy biases out of this, ahem. :)

One possible explanation for Gilligan's continuing ineptitude is that he's some sort of rogue who was paid to keep the party stranded but alive.

Alas, this doesn't fit with him and the Skipper being long time friends.
