Yeah, but I live in the Pacific Northwet (not a typo :-)

We get that sort of temp, but things practically shut down.

85 is when I turn on the air conditioner. And when I didn't have one it was lots of fans and lay there in as few clothes as possible.

Now, picture me in a temperature controlled room as I type this. 72F, all day, every day, and I wear a turtleneck, a long-sleeved dress shirt, and for 3/4 of the day, a polar fleece sweater over both. If I had less screaming neuropathy in my legs,I'd be wearing thermals under my jeans.

Temperature controlled? It is to laugh.

I have a window fan in the bedroom (which I use for storage for historical reasons) that blows air out. And the window in the living room (where I sleep) is usually at least cracked open except on the very coldest winter days.

The baseboard heaters are *off*, also except on the coldest days of winter. It's hit 80 in here in the winter with the heat off. thus the fan and cracked open window.

My usual garb is a t-shirt and panties, unless I'm going out.

Laugh. I remember when I could do that! Now, 80F is "I'm not freezing" and suddenly 90F is "I'm on the verge of heatstroke." (quite seriously so.) I have very little internal temeperature regulation any more.

My comfort zone seems to range from 72 to 74...

On the other hand my "can tolerate" zone is a lot wider. Especially at the low end.
