Fighting dirty?

kengrA news article on Dick Cheney's gay daughter on Newsweek points to a web site trying to force her to take a stand on the current brouhaha.
I'm not sure that's fighting fair. It strikes me as being *way* too similar to the way gay activist's in the past have forcibly outed prominent folks who were in the closet.
On the other hand, I think that Bush and Cheney should be asked to reconcile Mary Cheney being gay and out, with their comments about gays.
After all, while putting *her* on the spot using tactics that resemble emotional blackmail is one thing. Putting Bush and Cheney on the spot when they've made all these negative comments that apply to someone who is not just Cheney's daughter, but a campaign official *is* justified.
Say something like "If gays aren't fit to marry, how come you've got one on your campaign committee?"
