You might like the idea someone on the TML used after I made a suggestion for the "disaster rock" band he designed.

I pointed out that it was possible to use flames as speakers. And suggested that by that far in the future you could probably use the exhaust of rocket engines in the Saturn V range...

I've also seen ionized plasma streams used as loudspeakers... sort of like singing tesla coils, but with a magnetic field vibrating the stream rather than pulse modulation ... basically a musical death ray.

But, a modulated rocket plume... now that is epic!

Well, with the Saturn's F-1 engines or the Space Shuttle main engines, we're talking about a *gigawatt* "speaker stack".

Then again, we are talking about a band that would likely get turned down for a gig in the middle of the Nellis Test Range out of concern for collateral damage...

So, that's how Disaster Area got started... before they got really loud.

I think disaster area was the inspiration for his band.

Then again, the TML is responsible for such things as the Imperial Navy Ortillery Commands [unofficial] motto: We didn't steal God's SMITE button. He just lets us borrow it.
