I slept thru much of Coming Out day. But here's a quick sketch...

Bi (ever since I knew about sex).

Somewhat poly.

Switch (but prefer sub though I can be a "service top" for many things and a real top for a few.

Bi-gendered or genderfluid. I present male most of the time just because it's less effort (fewer spoons). Would like to present female more but after all these decades of having to present male for protective coloration, there are so many things to unlearn as well as things to learn.

But ever since I knew the anatomical differences I wanted to switch back and forth. Had some rather detailed fantasies about different sorts of "cycles". Also tried the tape bit when I was in my early teens but couldn't get it to work. :-)

Probably neurovariant, possibly Aspergers or the like.

PTSD, social phobia social anxiety disordedr, all going back to when I was a kid, but getting worse in my later teens.

Hopefully, I'm a lovable mess.

You're one of the few other people I've seen list "because it's easier" for gender decisions.

Well, for instance if I shave my beard more than two days running, my face feels like I used a cheese grater. Doesn't look that great either.

Unlike a friend whose body hair is very light colored mine is dark, so it's a major production de-hairing the bod (If I ever manage to afford laser/electrolysis I'll start with the back and shoulders as they are pretty much impossible to do without help)

And now that my testosterone poisoning has pushed my hairline back to above my ears, I *have* to use my wig, which is way uncomfortable in the warmer months.

Also, while I *can* do "mixed" gender presentation, I *really* prefer not to unless it's a very safe place.

So "easier". Doesn't mean I *like* doing things that way, but life is what it is.

*Internally* I'm still more female than male oriented.

In my "ideal" world, I'd be doing like someone's sig file I spotted years back:

Today I dress from *this* side of the closet!

Well, you're ahead of me. Every method of hair removal I tried on this body took off skin too, immediately. >_< Eventually I got more assertive about not wanting to walk around with chinks in my dermal armor all the time, and my mother got tired of arguing about it.

On the bright side, I can say that natural pelt makes fantastic asshole repellent.

Nair works on my body. Even sort of works on the dangly bits (but you gotta be careful to get it off quick).

I know better than to try it on my face because a friend tried it once and got some lovely chemical burns (they healed ok).

Haven't gotten around to trying Magic shave (a beard removal cream for black men) yet. Bought a package of the powder, just haven't gotten around trying it yet.

Had an electric shaver that worked ok on the body, but it got unplugged during an apartment inspection (so they could test the GFI outlet in the bathroom) and I didn't notice and the rechargeable batteries wouldn't recharge anymore... :-(

Waxing works, and I can handle the pain. But it's way too expensive. Epilady works too, but I safeworded that the one time it was tried.

Basically, waxing hurts for a few minutes and then is fine. Epilady hurts just as bad but keeps burning for 10-15 minutes.

No thanks.

Lack of fur acts as a repellent for guys that are into "bears", alas. And can discourage "chubby chasers".

But yeah, I can see furriness acting as repellent for more "normal" chasers. Especially the sorts you wouldn't want to be chased by.
