Silly idea

He got the superspeed package. Just one *teeny*, tiny problem...
He still got the exercise-induced asthma he's had since he was a kid.

On the other hand, if he can deliberately *not* use his power. he'll have a *great* cover in his secret identity.
"You think Jim is the Streak? He gets winded walking up a flight of stairs!"

Let's say Farce has a nonstandard risk assessment.
Re: Well...
Date: 2017-05-07 07:46 am (UTC)So I've encountered Farce. And hey, I'm asthmatic and I carry pepper spray. Especially if I'm out en femme.
So does a trans friend. And *she* has a really bad reaction to anything with capsicum!
Oh, as long as I have your attention, I've got a few questions about T-America.
1. has anybody ever done "trading cards" with black & white capes?
2. If so, given what I have picked up about they way things are handled, how likely is it that some publisher of such got in trouble for something inaccurate or at least very "unflattering" about a black cape and had to recall the card in question?
3. how likely are soup groupies to (politely) ask for autographs at places like the Soups Kitchen?
(I've got an idea for a vignette involving a groupie asking the black cape to autograph *that* card. The reaction will be partially based on that of a dangerously visionary author's reaction to being asked to autograph a copy of a book he very much regrets having written.)
