Well, sticking with the D&D trope, many of the "slimes" can survive being frozen. Watch out for green ice. :-)

Undead are one of the biggies that will survive being buried under the ice for a long, long time.

One thing that could be a problem is the underground complexes flooding as the ice retreats.
