For various reasons, I've always had trouble identifying with gender stereotypes. Males are supposed to be this, I was taught in school/etc. But what about friend A. who paints his nails? And friend B. who is a much better homemaker than I am? Or friend C. who cries at sappy movies? I can't find anything wrong with any of their behaviours and they consider themselves male - so I drop the stereotypes.

Male and female is whatever you want it to be. I'm female, I enjoy female related things (chocolate), male related things (doing bodywork on cars), and some neuter related things (reading, singing in the shower, etc).

Most of my feelings on this matter are skewed because I have great friends. The way my friends treat me is motivated by who I am and how I behave, not by the bias of whatever stereotype I happen to fall into.

Smiles,
