Date: 2006-11-01 01:30 am (UTC)To do this and make it work, I had to change my default lan addresses. For example, this is what my wireless connection looks like:
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.246
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.245
I use my wireless router as a dhcp server and disable dhcp on my wired router. Since I only have 3 computers (at most) on the network at any given time, I restrict my IP address range to 192.168.2.246 - 248. I can always edit this if I have guests that need access. My print server is assigned 192.168.2.100.
If I need wired connections, I can plug into either router.
Hope this helps.
