Geek heaven
Feb. 19th, 2005 11:21 amMy backup ISP had a surplus sale this morning. I picked up some interesting stuff.
A bunch of ethernet cables, a webcam, an Intel Netport Express Pro/100 print server, a LinkSys 4-port router with wireless-B, a Zip250 parallel port drive with case and some disks, and a Plantronics cordless headset phone.
And the two biggies. A 6 drive SCSI RAID array, and a Sun Cobalt Raq4 server.
That Raq4 is the same type of system that my websites are hosted on. Not sure what I'll do with it but there are a lot of possibilities.
