Major scare

mistresscayenne was going to pick me up at noon so we could pick up some gear at GrayBar.

Well, I went to grab my "purse" that had the extra cash in it. And discovered that I couldn't find it.

I'd taken it to the store last night to pull the extra cash I'd need from the ATM. And it wasn't anywhere to be found.

This was *bad* news as it had my ID, my checkbook *and* my credit card in it.

At first I thought I'd left it in the cart, which meant it was long gone. Then I remembered setting it on the self service checkout while fumbling with my wallet.

The store did indeed have it. And I am *so* relieved. But I'm still shaky. And it's been over an hour.
