I've been buying a few things off ebay.
Mostly upgrades to my Velo I handheld.
I got the Win CE 2.0 upgrade, which when I get around to installing the client it will let me do LJ entries from the Velo.
I also got the V-module, which lets it use PCMCIA cards. At least ones that you can find drivers for. One of my spare 56k modem cards works, as does the CF card adapter. None of my ethernet cards work, though there are ones that should work, if I can find them.
My wireless LAN cards won't work either. There may be some that will. That'd be nice, though I'll need to rig a power pack so I can use bigger batteries.
The one other type of card that has been used is VGA cards. Alas, most of them seem to be discontinued.
Still have a few other accessories to get. There's a serial cable on the way. That'll make connecting to Lin's BrailleNote possible, as well as connecting to other PCs if I need to. the docking station was just not practical to haul around.
I need to find a cable for that modem card. I've got two modem cards, but only one cable for connecting them to the phone line.
In other geekiness, Mac fans may not want to read on. I'm contemplating an incredible "perversion". I'm gotten a copy of OS/2 for the PowerPC. And I'm giving the Performa sitting a foot or so away (which *does* say "PowerPC on the front) some speculative looks. :-)
