Pleasant surprise
Jun. 24th, 2002 09:54 pmI got a bit of a shock today. But a pleasant one.
I was heading over to the store that's right next to the apartments (convenient, that) and I ran into another tenant.
He said "Hi" and then asked me when "Peacock in the Park" was. That surprised me, because while I couldn't recall exactly what that event was, I knew it was gay or TV/TG. oriented.
I told him I didn't know. And I was trying to figure out how to ask him how he knew about it when he mentioned that he'd seen my that other day and thought I'd looked pretty good.
Oh.
He'd obviously seen Brooke heading out for the Pride march last Sunday.
That was a bit of a shock, but since he wasn't upset about it, and seemed to be at most amused, I figure it's a good sign.
