Me Tarzan! You Jane!
Date: 2004-10-21 07:50 pm (UTC)You do realize that the "Arguments in Favor" by Dennis Moore are satire right?
In the past he has written letters "on behalf of" the "Special Righteousness committee."
I met him in person during a critical mass. He's a cool guy.
If I were to do a satire it would go something like "Me Tarzan! You Jane! One Man One Woman! That's what marriage is really about." I was disappointed after actually visiting the I won't be redefined, the pro-36 website for like the generation-y 18-30 year olds like you know like whatever. WW implied that they provided a blog and I wanted to do a satire on an actually pro-36 website and eventually come out against 36, after discovering, like oh my god, that like measure 36 actually does change the constitution even though like they said it doesn't and like they had this all prepaired even before like they were like marrying like gay people in Portland.
Other satires I might like to do would be for the "Truly, Traditional Marriage Coalition" which would ban all marriages that are not arranged marriages, and ban marriage that is based on love. Not to mention to legalize polygamy.
Oh, yesterday I saw a pro-36 commercial that had this young woman in a tight t-shirt talking about how we gotta protect the children. So, like think of the children and like vote yes on 36 and like aren't my boobs big tee hee like whatever.
