Alas, I don't think that you could translate I am the Walrus into Sumerian. I don't think House of the Rising Sun has any words or concepts that don't exist in it.

See, *transliterating something into a foreign alphabet is one thing. But translating something into the language and then writing it in the proper alphabet is another.

The transliteration would be spotted almost immediately the translation would take a while to sink in.<eg>
