Silly spam

I just got a stock spam. The usual "this one will explode!!" Except I almost died laughing.

You see, the *subject* had been "by by purgative".

Ummm. like what?

Seems that the stocks I inherited from my mom are worth a lot more than I thought.

I just got a check for "fractional value". Seems the company was sold to another company. And unlike the last time this happened they are paying shareholders the value of the fractional shares that were left over.

The check for this fraction is over $700!!!!!!

And since I never got around to getting things straightened out so I could merge the two blocks of stock I own, that means there's a another check this size coming...

Oy.

Doesn't exactly break my heart though.

Unexpected

Well, I just had my self-image altered.

Or maybe I should make that my *awareness of my self image.

I was over at the store buying groceries. And a guy said "Excuse me, sir" as he squeezed past me.

And I found that it *bothered* me. Even though I was unshaven and in boy mode, it bothered me.

Oy. I hate learning experiences.
