(i'm logged in as Kenneth because I'm going thru a bunch of backstory post from the former incarnation of the game)
a purpleheart paddle would be very heavy and hard. of course, i suppose that's the point...
I've never had the experience. Their paddles are lovely. And the prices are, well, ouch.
Consider that they also have such things as *ebony* paddles. And an Aluminum paddle that they've been trying to sell for a while.
