One of the top stories on the local news was that we had an earthquake with the epicenter *in Portland* a few miles from where I live this morning around 7 am.
A) how deep. B) even one that small can be significant in the bigger terrestrial stress picture. C) there have been a lot of small quakes all around the pacific lately. D) I'm willing to drop cash money that the Juan de Fuca Plate has a big release within 3 years.*
