(no subject)

Is it wrong to just wish I could wander over to the store to getr something without either changing out of my skirt or spending 30-60 minutes dealing with body & facial hair?

Nothing wrong with wishing that, given your situation. It's not something I'd wish for myself*, mind you.... ;-)

*The biggest thing I'd wish away about myself is poor vision. Wearing glasses for 30 years is getting pretty damn old....

You could just keep your chin and legs clean-shaven all the time. Leg hair is much easier to deal with if you shave or wax regularly.

That's a normal desire, I'd say.

Well, you know I do that, after a fashion. Beard, t-shirt and skirt. But I have a different set of clothes for that than I do for cross-dressing, it'd be like wearing a tux to run down to 7-11. Although, I'm lazy enough on laundry day, I'd throw the slacks from a tux on with a t-shirt, and I've got one outfit that isn't so dressy, I've been tempted to put it on. I'd just feel silly with the beard still on is all. Just doesn't go with the outfit. ;)

That is practical...

You're right, of course, but oy. I grew a beard because I hated shaving. I'm going to get rid of it any day now, but I never look forward to the chore of maintaining it. (I'm never satisfied with my shave, is the problem, I usually just give up when I'm down to fine sandpaper in patches. I'm convinced an all-over smooth shave is an urban legend started by Burmashave or something.)
