There's a person on my friends list that something weird is happening with.

I can see their public posts. But when I try to leave a comment I get "this user has disabled anonymous posting". even though I'm logged in. And if I enter my user name and PW at that screen I get "you are not allowed to post" or some such.

Is it possible to set public posts to only be replyable by folks on your friends list or something? Or is this a bug that needs to be reported?

Yes, it is. My journal was set that way for the better part of a year. Go back to the "Post Comment" page; it should say something to the effect of "This user has disabled both anonymous and non-friend posting. You may only post if fitb has you listed as a friend."

Nope, doesn't say that. It *does* say that anonymous posting is disabled.

And the line that shows "logged in user" has () instead of the circle with the dot inside.
