Profound thought of the day
Most people will say they want peace. But peace really means at least three separate things.
1. There is no war.
2. The war is over, we won
3. The war is over, we lost.
That last is functionally equivalent to: We are badly oppressed but can't fight back.
Suddenly peace doesn't look so good.

I think Lenin said something like that, about how everyone wants peace, but it means different things to different people. I think this was before he took power and slaughter millions of people.

There is another forth state of peace.
4.War is over, there is no-one left to fight.
It is equivalent to; either one side or both is all or mostly dead. No-one is fighting because they are too busy trying to survive.
