Link question

I've noted that when I click on links on some people's posts, I go to the page they linked to. But when I click on links in other posts, the page opens in a new window.

Anybody know what about the link causes this difference?

Add the phrase target="_blank" inside the href tag.

You can choose whether or not a link you put in your journal opens in a new window or the current one. I tend to choose new window, because I like to keep the current entry open if, say, I'm looking at a post which the writer's just using as a reference.

Not in the client I'm using.

When I create hyperlinks I make them with the optional target="_blank" paramater that way links I create do not "interrupt" the flow of a person's browsing.
