The more things I sign up for, the more spam I get. Yes, I have all sorts of spam filters on my email, but the spammers keep finding ways around them. I sit down at my computer after I wake up, and there are always at least 300, and sometimes as many as 500, messages that have made it past the filters. I go through the list, deleting by hand all the ones that aren't "real"... and when I'm done, I have 20 to 30 messages. So I don't sign up for things any more than I absolutely have to.
Yeah, that's why I never did it. I've had domains of my own before - in fact, I've got one right now, and my husband and I are building the contents before we even begin to think about hosting. (This is part of a larger plan to create some kind of online business that would enable my husband to stop driving an airport limo 60 hours a week. Our combined Social Security isn't enough to live on.)

But it's just a freebie "create an account" thing. So if you change your mind, you can just create a username and password for the site. That's it.
There are some things that require paid account, but that isn't one of them (because *I* don't have a paid account)

Thanks for sending me the text!

I can create unique email addresses and thus when I get spammed, I know which site is responsible.
Funny thing. I don't get much spam, and what I do get gets caught by the filter that looks for the common part of all those unique addresses.

It's the hosting that gets spendy. :-(
