Well, after some searching online (I used: portland needle disposal) I found out that there are a couple of Bi-Marts that'll accept them. But it'll cost me $5. I will get a new container out of that.

There's also the metro hazardous waste disposal stations. But they not only want $5, as the page is written, there's *another* $5 on top of that.

Yeesh.

The info on Bi-Mart (again from the Metro Hazardous wastes site) worded such that I can't tell if I have to pay a second $5 fee there too.

Since I can still get *free* sharps containers at the clinic, I may ask Bi-mart what the fee is if I *don't* want to get the replacement from them. I'll also check with my insurance to see if I can claim these fees with them.
