Oh my...

Patrick Stewart as a *flaming* gay interior designer.... *fans self*

The other day someone posted a link to a clip from the move Jeffrey. And after seeing Stewart in that I had to see the movie Tracked down a copy and... oh dear.

The only thing "worse" would be if you could get him and Robin Williams *both* playing gay men in the same movie. :-)

[livejournal.com profile] kshandra adores that film, and especially Patrick Stewart. We watched the last half or so at [livejournal.com profile] murphymom's place last night. It's OK, but perhaps I just wasn't in the right mood.

We picked it up after my favorite sequence (where Darius, Sterling's boy-toy, appalls him by asking "Who's Ann Miller?"). And now I'm giggling because Bryan Batt, the fellow who played Darius, really was in CATS.... (IMDB / IBDB)

I was realizing as we watched it last night that Darius and Sterling reminded me of Miss Autumn Frost and his (eventual ex-)husband Walter.... They're both gone, now; I wonder if they saw the movie and noticed the parallels.

I can't believe you didn't already know about this movie. Surely I've told you about it before - it's probably my all-time favorite gay movie.

*shakes head in wonderment* Wow.

Oh, it's fabulous high-camp. I loved it.

(Bryan Batt... drooooooooooooool... and Michael T. Weiss is pure sex on a stick, IMO.)
