Oh, very nicely done. They not only remembered to stick in the "changes may make things worse", bit but make it hard to get right.

DJ as time-shifter is an interesting take on it as well.

Well, the one DJ I know doesn't look that way. But then again she's transitioning. And even as a guy, she didn't look that scruffy.

She also was fortunate enough to have a name she liked that works either way (Morgan).

Somehow, even at the start I had a feeling it was a "falling down the rabbithole through a crack in reality" or the like. Something about the angle and velocity in combo just wasn't right for anything normal.
