I'll remember that. I'm TG of course, but I've never been offended by the term. Good to know some people are, though.

One of the folks who got jumped all over is someone I know personally. Sad really.

Me, I mostly dislike it because its usage on a site or in a story virtually guarantees that the site is pure exploitation of the story is by someone interested in "shemales" as a fetish, rarther than someone TG.

With regards to *sites* I can't think of any exceptions. With stories I've seen a few.
