Well, that was interesting
Chrissy & I spent the afternoon together trying to run some errands.
We got some done, some not.
First we did breakfast. Then since the shoe store was nearby, we hit it next.
They don't sell "casual" shoes any more. They referred us to a place across town. Fortunately, a place I knew the location of (and can get to easily if I want to do more shopping there).
So we hit Llloyd Center next to deposit a bunch of checks (including a couple of *big* ones). And we tried for some clothes shopping, but one store I'd hoped had a branch there didn't. We actually did look thru some stuff at Lane Bryant, but I wasn't quite interested enough, nor sure enough of my sizes.
So we hit Barnes & Noble. And then left. Next stop was the other shoe store. I got a pair of shoes and a pair of sandals. I even got brave enough to ask if some of the women's sandals came in my size (one pair was the *exact* same color as one of my skirts :-)
Alas, they didn't. One other style was *almost* big enough. <sigh>
Guess it's Internet shopping time.
Chrissy has smaller feet than I do and got a nice pair of heels.
Since My HMO has a facility near there I got my prescriptions refilled. Then we headed home.
Next week we'll try some other stuff.
I need jeans, and maybe a pair of "dress" pants. And Brooke could use some casual slacks and a few more long, casual skirts.
