Well, they've got the "holy symbol" (crucifix or whatever) of the religion they are *supposed* to be believers of. That'll keep a vampire at bay. Unless they don't really believe (say a Marano in Spain)

I'm thinking it'd work better if the vampire was a bit more *willing* to cooperate.
