Weird day so far

I woke up after only 4-5 hours of sleep, but I'm not overly tired and I did need to get back on a more normal schedule.

And I got the *weirdest* spam...

(and I just noticed that the plain text and HTML versions are *different*...)

Subject: Up-to-date route of ridding weight!

[plain text body]

Our lozenge is an advanced grease-holding fast accessory which
takes away grease from a nourishment we dine! Explicated with
the powerful fat-holding fast filament, the blend
of all-natural components...

[link omitted on purpose]

[HTML body]

My product is a modern grease-banding addendum that
removes fat from the fare we dine! Devised with
the powerful grease-bandage fiber, the blend
of all-natural constituents...

[link omitted on purpose]

Ok, this means exactly what? My guess, and a very tentative one, is that it's some sort of weight loss gimmick.

This goes beyond the usual misspellings and the like. They're doing Engrish spam now?

I guess the idea is that they figure you'll click on the link to figure it out.

Possibly the worst "book" of the year...

Want to kill production staff...

...at the Discovery Channel.

Once again they had a *major* screw up and ignored it. At least this time it had the excuse of (supposedly) being live, but at the same time. it was *such* a goof...

I've almost grown used to them having the "narrator" mispronouncing stuff. And the factual errors (many due to "simplifying" things beyond the breaking point).

But when their guy on camera called someone "mon-sewer"
(yes, pronounced that way...) I just couldn't believe it...
