News item tonight.
Seattle is considering an ordinance that will recognize gay marriages. Due to marriage licenses being issued by the county, they can't issue licenses. And Washington has a law that wouldn't let the county do it anyway. But apparently the city *can* do this.
And it'll be interesting.
The local news had coverage of a couple of different local churches dealing with the issues here. One was a baptist church, and they were against it. Not surprising.
The other was a Congregationalist church. Where the *pastor* was getting married!
