Terramagne questions (centaurs)
I'm wondering what sort of mess might get stirred up if they wanted to participate in various sports.
Polo would probably only result in a minor row. Dressage would likely be a major one. Jumping events, oh boy *that* would be a can of worms.
The real fun would be horse racing.
"I *am* the jockey."
"But how do we weigh you to handicap you?"
(actually, I wouldn't expect the centaurs to do well at racing. Their human tracheas restrict the airflow to their lungs too much.)

Track & field would mostly be a no-go for a number of reasons. They just aren't *built* for the long jump and broad jump. The less said about pole vaulting the better.
Shotput just doesn't work given their equine bodies. Or at least they can't do it the way normal humans do. Ditto for the hammer.
Javelin might work though.
Oh lord. Soccer, rugby and football. Especially football.
Tackling a centaur would not go well. Alas, the odds of broken legs are way high too.
Basketball is likely out as what they'd do to the floors (even with "rubber" shoes) would be appalling.
Baseball would be fun. Their strike zone is both huge and higher than normal. Dunno enough about cricket to say.

Basketball could work, if you took it back to it's roots and played on a clay court, but I suspect you also have to raise the baskets and enlarge the court.
Swimming... yeah.. where the heck is their centre of gravity anyway?! I'm not sure they'd be buoyant honestly, and anything else is just wading.
No-contact rugby would work well though.
You know.. this is kind of the reverse of working out how to do para-sports for the disabled. Because in many cases, the centaurs would out-class the humans. Anything that relies on running or mass, they're going to have an edge in.

Running events might be doable depending on the longs and tracheeas of certain ones, but over all? Not so much. And the high jump, let's not even go there, yeah?
What about curling? Or would they crack the ice? I would think so, now that I think about it.
...
And bowling would be a disaster. LOL
Javelin, discus...archery, certainly. And wouldn't they be able to make their own? Like, let's think up ones that they are well suited for that don't belong in the human world.
