Do not plug the vacuum cleaner into an outlet in the living room if the air conditioner is also plugged into an outlet in the living room.

Heh. Due to an accident of history, my home entertainment center and several kitchen outlets and lights are all on one breaker. I can't use the microwave or the toaster when the dishwasher is running. Or if the breadmaker is baking.
